NAWIC DC Programs

NAWIC is passionate about building the next generation of the construction industry. We host events like Block Kids and Camp NAWIC to promote early awareness and the pique interest hands-on critical thinking while gaining life skills to take beyond our events.

Block Kids Building Competition is a FREE National building competition that is sponsored on the local level by NAWIC chapters and other organizations. The award-winning program introduces children to the construction industry in an effort to create awareness and promote careers in the industry.

Camp NAWIC enhances the educational development of young women who are seeking knowledge about career opportunities through hands-on experiences while participating in construction activities. Camp NAWIC was created as community outreach to target high school age girls to kindle their interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry.
